Darius is an actor based in Portland, Oregon. After growing up in South Florida, he received a B.Sc. in Math/Computer Science from Brown University and moved (sight unseen) to Portland, where he fell in love with the city.

Both the Portland flm and theater communities have been incredibly welcoming. On camera, he has  worked with and learned from great talent in classes and projects from Leverage to Portlandia; from a bumbling villain in Train Master II: Jeremiah's Treasure to the devoted team leader in The Paranormalists.

He has also worked at many Portland theaters, including Portland Center Stage, Broadway Rose Theatre Company, Profile Theatre, Theatre Vertigo, Stark Raving Theatre, Northwest Children's Theatre, and Anonymous Theatre Company. He has also traveled to work at Folger Shakespeare Theater, Seattle Children's Theater, Second Stage in New York, and the Brown/Trinity Playwright's Repertory Theatre in Providence. In 2008, Darius won a Drammy Award for Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role for his performance as Shakespeare in The Beard of Avon. The following year, he won a PAMTA for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Thenardier in Les Miserables

Aside from acting, Darius has been involved with theater and film as a director, producer, designer, technical assistant, marketer, treasurer, facilities manager, and more. He is a member and co-founder of the Anonymous Theatre Company which began in 2002, and spent eight years as a producer and ensemble member with Theatre Vertigo.

When not working, Darius is an avid fan of baseball, Elton John, The West Wing, pub quizzes, and cooperative video games. He also collects turtles.
